Fedor SHURPIN

1904 der. Kiryakinka Smolensk Province. - 1972, Moscow. Studied at rabfak Arts (since 1923), at the Faculty of Painting Vhuteina (1925-30). Since 1929 he participated in exhibitions AChRs (Association of Artists of the Revolution). During the Great Patriotic War, went to the front, painted portraits of military pilots and paintings on military theme. After the war, wrote his most famous paintings - "Renaissance" (1943-45) and "Morning of Our Motherland" (1948). He painted pictures on the home and village life. Works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow, etc.. meetings.
