Born May 9, 1936 in Sanford, England. He received a scholarship at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and, having finished her debut on the professional stage in 1956 in the role of Brutus in a production of "Julius Caesar". Charles Laughton took him to Stratford-upon-Avon, where Finney struck viewers of its interpretation of Shakespeare's characters. For a young actor he was too clever. Especially Albert shocked the public by replacing, in the play "Coriolanus" Laurence Olivier. Directed by Tony Richardson almost immediately offered him a role in the film "The Entertainer", where Albert was to play the son of the same, Sir Lawrence. In the movie "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning" again, Tony Richardson gave Albert had a major role. Three years later (1963) in the title role in the film "Tom Jones" Finney has gained international fame and well adjusted its financial position. Now he himself could choose, what is removed. What did and does and will do. And Albert had never made a mistake in choosing roles.
