Born February 1, 1923 in Sheki Azerbaijan Republic. Father - Agaguseynov Yaqub Rahim oglu (1890. born.). Mother - Agaguseynova Usliya Haji oglu (1895. born.). Children: Elmira (1950 g. born.), Naseem (1960. born.), Ron (1961. born.).
In 1940 Tawfiq Agaguseynov graduated from high school and enrolled in Azerbaijan Industrial Institute. After the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in 1941, he joined the Red Army and sent to the Baku School of antiaircraft artillery. In 1942, after passing through an accelerated training course was sent to a platoon commander in the division air defense in Arkhangelsk. Participated in repelling attacks by enemy aircraft in the Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk, as well as anti-aircraft cover for unloading of transport convoys from America.

Agaguseynova claim representative positions in the Supreme Allied Commander of the participating countries of the Warsaw Pact in Czechoslovakia, commander of air defense.
In 1987 he transferred to the reserve with the rank of Colonel. In April 1997, Mr.. reinstated in the military service in the national army of Azerbaijan Republic and was appointed Assistant to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic on military matters.
