Born in the city of Ussuriysk Primorsky Krai. He graduated from the Theater School. B. V. Shchukin (1966). In 1964-1988 - an actor of the Moscow Theater of Drama and Comedy on Taganka. In the cinema since 1966 (the first role - the poet-soldier - in the film by Leonid Osyka 'Who return - dolyubit'). From music to plays Taganka and feature films 'First Love' (TV, 1966) and 'short wave' (1977).
