Biography Bobrov Alexander
(1850-1904 gg.) - Outstanding Russian surgeon. During the Russian-Turkish war (1877) was at the front. Since 1884. - Assistant professor of operative surgery and surgical anatomy in 1885. - Professor of the same department. In 1892, Mr.. headed in the Novo-Catherine's hospital surgical clinic, in 1893, Mr.. received faculty surgical clinic, where the rest of his life remained a professor. Continued and developed the direction of H. I. Pirogov in the surgical anatomy. Author of textbooks on dislocations and fractures, according to operative surgery and topographic anatomy, withstood several reprints. A. A. Bobrov developed original methods of hernia surgery and echinococcus of the liver, was one of the initiators and organizers of the Congresses of Russian surgeons.
