Biography Gordon Allport
(1897 - 1967) - American psychologist, an expert on the psychology of personality. Developed the theory of personality based on the concepts of self-actualization, and I, denotes the individual desire to achieve something meaningful and significant in the life. Showed that the motives that are source of biological needs, when they can get enough satisfaction from the independent nature of the biological basis (the principle of functional autonomy of motives).
