Biography Uznadze Dmitri
(1886 - 1950) - Georgian psychologist and philosopher, who developed a general psychological theory of the installation, one of the founders of the Tbilisi University, where he formed a branch of psychology, director of the Institute of Psychology, Georgian Academy of. Author of works 'main provisions set theory' (1961) and 'Experimental basis of psychology setting' (1966). Educated at Leipzig (1909) and Kharkov (1913). He gave his own interpretation of the notion of a methodological set as 'border' between the subjective and objective, which connects not only with the mental as mental, but physical. Installation is described as a holistic, undifferentiated and unconscious subject of prior activity, and supports the mediating link between mental and physical, allowing to remove 'postulate of immediacy'. There is a collision between subject and the needs of the objective situation of its satisfaction.
