Biography Yakubinsky Lev Petrovich
(1892-1945) - linguist. Born in Kiev. He studied at the school, the cadet corps and in 1909 entered the historical-philological faculty of Kiev University, then transferred to St. Petersburg University, who graduated in 1913. He studied at the AND. A. Baudouin de Courtenay, A. A. Shakhmatova, L. V. Scherba. He was a OPOYaZ. Courses taught at the University Lesgafta at the highest rates Lokhviskiy-Skalon in Petrograd University, in the 3 rd Teachers College (later - they LGPI. Herzen). Participated in the work of almost all linguistic research institutions in Petrograd-Leningrad, 1920-30 gg. In 1933-36 - Director of the Institute of Linguistics. In 1936-37 during the year taught Russian language in Ankara. From 1934 to 1943 he worked mainly in LGPI them. Herzen - was a professor, head of the department, dean. Remained in besieged Leningrad. He was engaged in problems of learning the art of speech, comparative historical studies of Slavic languages, the history of Russian. Article "On the dialogic speech" (1923) is among the classic works, which ushered in the study of conversational speech.
