Born January 19, 1935 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Choral School with honors (1953), . Leningrad State Conservatory of Rimsky-Korsakov choral conducting EP Kudryavtseva and class of music theory N. Tyulina (1958), . graduate class symphony conducting N. Rabinowitz (1961),
