Biography Klyachkin Eugene Isaakovich
born March 23, 1934. Leningrad. His father was an assistant master at weaving factory, his mother worked in a pharmacy.
In April 1942, Mr.. mother died, my father was at the front, and Zhenya were evacuated from the siege of Leningrad in the Yaroslavl region, where he was raised in an orphanage. In September 1945 my father took Marry in Leningrad.
In 1957 he graduated with honors from the Leningrad Engineering-Construction Institute, specializing in Urban Construction and Management ".
Worked as an engineer-designer in the construction organizations of Leningrad (GSPI-1, Lenproekt, Leningrad branch of the Art Fund and others). In the mid 80-ies left in the professional scene. Appeared Lenkontserta and Rosconcert.
In the summer of 1957. participated in the VI-th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow.
Songs began writing in October 1961. first on the verses of other poets (I. Brodsky, K. Kuzmin, A. Voznesensky, Mr.. Gorbovsky, etc.), and then mostly on their own poems. Poetry of Joseph Brodsky became known thanks largely to the songs Klyachkin "Pilgrims", "Christmas Romance", "No country, no graveyard ..." and verses from the poem "Procession".
Played the seven-stringed guitar. In 1963 - 1964 years attended a seminar on working with amateur composers at the Leningrad branch of the Union of Soviet Composers

Total Yevgeny Klyachkin written over 300 songs, of which about 70 - to someone else's poems.
In April 1990, Mr.. Eugene Klyachkin with his family emigrated to Israel. He worked in the specialty, gave concerts, was on tour in the U.S.. At its 60 th anniversary in March 1994,. came to Russia, gave several concerts in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tula.
30 July 1994 Eugene Klyachkin not become - a heart attack while swimming in the Mediterranean.
