Kayumov Nuriddin Kayumovich

Born August 12, 1937 in Ayni district of Tajikistan. Father - Niyozov Qayyum (genus. 15.05.1905 g.). Mother - Radjabov Tansuk (genus. 24.08.1917 g.). Son - Kayumov Akbar (genus. 08.10.1967 g.). Daughter - Kayumova Madina (genus. 10.04.1971 g.).

Higher education in the Tajik State University (1956-1961 gg.). By specialty - economist. After graduation, remained at the university in teaching. Within 3 years he lectured (1961-1964).. From 1965 to 1980. - Scientific research as a graduate student, a senior researcher, head of the department, and then Deputy Director for Science, Institute of Economics Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. In the period from 1981 to 1993. as director of the Institute of Economic Research State Planning Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan to organize and conduct major research in the field of economy. In 1994 he was adviser to the State Head of State of Tajikistan for the socio-economic policies. His responsibilities included strategic issues of economic stabilization, recovery, and sustainable development of economy of the republic. From 1995 to now works as director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. Under the leadership of NK Kayumova Center is working to identify ways of political and economic stabilization in the republic, . formulates recommendations for the development of priority sectors, . as well as creating its own model of economic transition to market relations,

NK Kayumov is president of the Union of Economists of Tajikistan (1992), a member of the International Union of Economists (1991), a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (since 1991) and the International Academy of Management (since 1996).
