Born September 4, 1929 in Moscow. Father - Pavel Platonov (1902 - 1968 gg.). Mother - Tsuryupa Esther (1911 - 1987 gg.). Daughter - Mary (04/02/1956 - 25/05/1983 - died). He graduated in 1953, Moscow Architectural Institute. From 1953 to present works in Gipron Academy of Sciences (B.. Akademproekt). He has held the post of architect, chief architect, director. Since 1991 is the creative and scientific director of the Institute. Professor at the Moscow Institute of Architecture (1973. - Present. time). First Secretary of the Board of the Union of Architects of the USSR (1987 - 1992 gg.). Vice-President of the Moscow branch of the International Academy of Architecture (1991. - Present. time). Since 1992, the chief architect of Russia's Academy of Sciences. YU. P. Author of numerous creative works, among which are: Complex of Agricultural Sciences Research Center near Novosibirsk, Scientific Center of Biological Research (r. Pushchino) Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry (g. Moscow); Paleontological Museum (r. Moscow) a new building complex of Russia Academy of Sciences (g. Moscow); Project comprehensive reconstruction Gagarin square and its adjacent territories (r. Moscow); Project Greek business and cultural center in the Crimean area (r. Moscow). Published numerous articles and scientific papers: 'The production can not go ahead of science' - the magazine "Science and Life ', N 11, 1987," Architectural solutions objects of science. History, Problems and Prospects' - Collection, Vol. 'Science' (19 n. l.) For outstanding creative achievements of Academician Platonov was awarded the honorary title of People's architect of the USSR and the RSFSR Honored Architect. He was awarded the Order of Labor Red Banner, Order of 'Honor', the Silver Medal of the Arts Academy of the USSR, and was awarded the USSR State Prize, the Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, State Prize of Russia. The life and creative work considers his main hobby.
