Born March 25, 1945 in d.Stetski Grodno region of Belarus. Father - Edeshko Ivan Aleksandrovich (1907-1997 yy). Mother - Anna Edeshko Vikentevna (1912-1988 yy). Wife - Edeshko Larissa Andreyevna (rod.25.05.1946 g.). Daughter - Edeshko Natalia I. (1970 g.rozhd.).

Graduated from the Belarusian State Institute of Physical Culture (1965-1970 yy). By specialty - the coach-teacher.

Ivan Edeshko went down in history as an outstanding master of sports of basketball, the author of the famous pasa Sergei Belov, who brought the USSR national team Olympic gold medals in Munich. His sports career began in Minsk in 1963-1970 GG, where he played for Spartak. Since 1970, I. Edeshko in military service.
