Biography Hassan II
His Majesty King Hassan II was born on July 9, 1929 in the capital city of Rabat, Morocco. Primary education is the future King of Morocco has received in the Royal Palace. After graduating from university in Rabat and Bordeaux in 1952, King received a Master of law.
His Majesty was brought up in an atmosphere of patriotism and heroism. His father, King Mohammed V, tried to join in the education of his eldest son, the Arab tradition of Islam and modern values of world civilization.
Since the forties of this century, the future King is actively involved in the political life of the country and the world.
In August 1953, at the command of the French administration of the Protectorate of Morocco, the entire royal family including Prince Hassan was exiled to Corsica, but, then, to Madagascar, where the family returned home in November 1956.
When his father, King Mohammed V, Prince Hassan played the role of political adviser to a number of important issues, including the negotiations on the Granting of Independence to Morocco in February 1956.
After the granting of independence of Morocco, King Mohammed V appointed Prince Hassan chief of staff of the armed forces of the country. July 9, 1957 Prince Hassan was officially declared the Crown Prince of Morocco.
March 3, 1961, shortly after the death of Mohammed V, Prince Hassan was proclaimed King of Morocco. From that day, King Hassan II takes the most direct and active participation in the internal affairs of the state. The main objective of their King Hassan and still considers the strengthening of the state and development of democratic institutions.
