Biography Mao Zedong
1893 - 1976
Born in the family of a prosperous farmer in the village of Shaoshan in Hunan Province. In 1918, Mr.. graduated from normal school in Changsha. In the same year moved to Beijing where he met with the ideas of Marxism. From his youth, began to take an active part in the revolutionary movement. In 1921, Mr.. Mao is one of the 12 founders of the Communist Party of China. Since 1935. strength of the party began gradually strengthened, and 1947. Communists were ready to open struggle against the Nationalist government, headed by Chiang Kai-Shek. They won in 1949, and established control over the entire country.
