Pertsov Nikolai Andreevich

1924 - 1987
Born in g. Moscow, in a family of Russian intelligentsia, which belonged to prominent lawyers, professors, musicians. In 1941, Mr.. after school 17-year old boys went to fight in the militia, defended Moscow in Mozhaisk. He was wounded, was dismissed from the army as a minor, and entered the biological faculty of Moscow University, but already in 1942. again went to the front. At the University N.A. Pertsov returned only in 1946

During training N.A. Pertsov worked under, LA. Zenkevich i.i. Abrikosov and VA. Brotskaya, taking part in expeditions to study the fauna and biology of the animals of the White Sea. After defending his thesis N.A. Pertsov was recommended for admission to graduate school, but an unexpected proposal, LA. Zenkevich take the post of Director of the White Sea Biological Station has turned his fate.

When N.A. Pertsov in 1951. arrived at the place designated as Belomorskaya Biostation MSU, there was nothing there except for a small shed - "cabin" and the tents that set students on summer. From that moment began the feat N.A. Pertsova - a feat that has lasted all my life until my last breath. Gifted with a brilliant, talented organizer N.A. Pertsov launched intense activity, and without the necessary funds, . captivating people with their enthusiasm, . built a laboratory and homes, . got hold of the present fleet of several vessels of different tonnage, . conducted through the taiga, a power line and telephone, . station provided the necessary scientific and educational equipment,
. Hundreds of students, staff came to the biological station of each year, dozens of books, thousands of scientific articles, theses defended hundreds, thousands of trained professionals - this is the result of activity led N.A. Pertsov White Sea biological station of Moscow State University.

Charm of personality N.A.
