Autobiographical notes

My name is Dima Vrubel, I was born in 1960. in Moscow, my parents - engineers. I started painting with 15 years. I wrote poetry, literary papers produced, arranged exhibitions. I have three children: Misha, Sasha and Natasha. My wife left me in 1986. In that year, I realized that my art and my life - it is one and the same. I began to paint for himself, his family, about relations with other people. I worked at home, one on paper.
In 1990. I arrived in Berlin, where I first had to work on the street, in public, in front of hundreds of people. On the 'Berlin Wall', I created a picture of the love of a girl from Leningrad.
Most of my paintings is dedicated to one theme: 'Russian people'. I love them very much afraid of them. The same applies to me: I can be kind and cordial, but can also be evil and cruel. People whom I depict - and the executioners and martyrs at the same time. I do not know which of them killed, who was the victim.
When I think about my relationship with children, mother, grandmother, I understand what brought them much joy, much pain, a lot of happiness and a lot of unhappiness. Criticism
