Autobiographical notes
For me very important is the continuity of the cultural process. Most artists are able to adequately define its place in art only in terms of content has made it and given place within the art of today. Only this discipline my inner need for creativity, allows me to go free in a powerful stream of modern art.
Criticism
The development of pictorial tradition for Igor Evsikova plays a very important role in his work. It stresses its continuity with the art of the Russian primitivists MF Larionov and Natalia Goncharova ... Naturally, he transforms the tradition in accordance with their own views on art. Truly matissovskaya exquisite color spots - the main advantage of his still lifes. But this is not reckless borrowing, and living the creative process, in which the artist gets their own expressive language.
