The first surprise - that rock paintings in Bashkortostan, which I saw in one trip with his father. Rock, moss and the delight of touch. It started like a touch of beauty, the feeling of eternity and its many layers.. After flipping through art books, albums, and a desire to create the illusion of an old wall. Primitive Culture merged with a sense of modernity. I wanted to create an image of this compound.
First, my father taught me. He is an artist-realist in the full sense of that tradition for our fine art concepts. He traveled extensively in the Far East, Central Asia and I am with him ... Six years I wrote only in nature and heavily leafed through albums of the classics ... Technically, I graduated from Orenburg Art College, plus two workshops. Workshop of the my father and Gennady Glahteeva. The influence of the latter can be traced to early works ... When I became more independent, very influenced me a book on the history of writing, calligraphy, the theory of signs and codes. But the actual painting still was the tap root, and the signs and codes remained behind the scenes.
... I care about the life of a heterogeneous. Somehow one or two genres I do not confine themselves. For me is important "picture as input". I distinguish three such "inputs" - I first saw the picture at a great distance, and it should attract the viewer, despite the magnitude of this distance, the color music. Next - middle stages, the usual, as in the auditorium, one, two meters from the surface of the canvas. Third-unusual-quite close (10-15 cm). This stage I call a moment of pleasure, when seen all to smear, to primordial. The most important thing for all these occurrences in the picture viewer should not be disappointed ...
