Autobiographical notes

My favorite material - natural stone, as a historical reality long before the product smalt. In stone impacted many tectonic events of the earth, it provides the element of volcanoes, fire and IM events and the long time evolution of sedimentary rocks. Stone retaining its pedigree, the net structure and internal energy, is for me the main wealth of the mosaic palette. Contrasts of hardness, color, texture, jewels are a wealth of stone with which it is difficult to compete with high-quality smalt, despite their brightness. Smalt is real only because of the similarity with the stone, complementing its comprehensiveness, its kind of authority. My desire to penetrate as deeply as possible in the history of rock and authority of his plunge into building a mosaic of original architecture, my goal - to make up the lost plastic interdependence, to recreate historic associativity.

Criticism
