Biography AVENARIUS Mikhail Petrovich
Born in 1835 in Tsarskoe Selo, died in 1895 and in 1858 he graduated St. Petersburg University and received a teacher at Second Saint-Petersburg High School. In 1862 A. was sent abroad until the end of 1864 he studied physics at the Magnus in Berlin and Kirchhoff in Heidelberg. Upon his return in 1865 he defended his master's thesis on thermoelectricity and was appointed to the chair of physics at Kiev University.
