Andogsky Nikolai Ivanovich

Born in 1869, graduated from the course of the Military Medical Academy, received his doctorate for a thesis "On some conditions for the development of postoperative suppuration in the anterior region of the eyeball and to move it to the deep shell of the eye". In 1898, Assistant Professor, Military Medical Academy in the department of Ophthalmology, in 1900 he was invited to teach ophthalmology in the St. Petersburg Women's Medical Institute and headed the Institute's Ophthalmic Hospital. In 1904 he was appointed full professor of the Institute.
