Biography Ark Karl
(1839 - 1902). His father, a Dutchman, a Dutch church organist in St. Petersburg, noticing the boy's musical ability, gave him to study piano F.O. Leshetitsky. On theoretical subjects he studied with NI. Zaremba. Since the founding of St. Petersburg Conservatory (1862) Fan-A. joined her piano teacher, adjunct professor Leshetitsky, and in 1873 received the title of professor. His "School of piano playing" widespread.
