Biography Bazhenov Nikolai K.
Born in 1804, came from the landed gentry province of Tula, Tula was in high school and the University of Moscow. Served in the Moscow military hospital, then held various medical posts in the provinces of Tula, Olonetsk, Novgorod, Tomsk and Simbirsk. In 1844 took place in Kazan, a military doctor at a gunpowder factory. In 1847 he published his "History of Kazan, which wanted to bring to general feldtseyhmeysteru Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich. But the immediate supervisor B., General YA.P. Tebenkov, refused to allow him to present the book to the Grand Duke. B. made an offering from a personal perspective, sending a book by mail, with a letter addressed to His Highness. The consequence of such a breach of etiquette in such cases and the subordination was dismissed B. from service without a petition. The situation became hopeless historian: a large family on hand, complete lack of means of subsistence, and debts, in which he entered, printing his work forced him to do a civilian clerk at the Kazan State Provincial Office. B. died suddenly on June 25, 1878.
