Biography Pyotr Fyodorovich Brosse
Born in 1793, Mr.. in Riga and educated in Riga high school, converted in 1804 to the provincial high school, and the University of Dorpat. During World War II, while still a student, correcting the position of intern in Riga Military Hospital. Received in 1814, Mr.. Doctor of Medicine degree, he went to his account abroad, where he spent 5 years and devoted himself mainly studying eye diseases. Upon his return to Russia in 1820 took the place of a doctor Brosse Count S.P. Rumyantsev and Prince P.A. Golitsyn, in which the family spent three and a half years in the Chernihiv province, in the settlement Topalli. In 1823, Mr.. moved to Moscow and was appointed as resident Golitsyn Hospital and at the opening in Moscow Eye Hospital in 1826. became its director and the chief doctor and made over 28 years (1826 - 54 years) more than 2000 cataract operations and 300 artificial apple. In addition, Brosse was consistently eye doctor at the Catherine and Alexander institutions, inspectors assistant Golitsyn Hospital (1829). In 1846, Mr.. confirmed in the rank of extraordinary professor of hospital eye clinic at the University of Moscow; read the practical doctrine of recognition and treatment of eye diseases in the ophthalmic hospital. In 1850, during an eye disease that appeared among the lower ranks of the Moscow garrison battalion, Brosse was chairman of a committee to study eye disease. Died in 1857.
