Biography Grefe Friedrich Ernst
(1780 - 1851), son of Chemnitz pastor arrived in Russia in 1810, Mr.. and enrolled in the Nevsky Theological Academy professor of Greek language, since 1811, Mr.. Professor of Latin literature at the Pedagogical Institute. Academician since 1820, Mr.. Even in mature summer Gref Sanskrit and wrote several memoirs on the comparative linguistics. In publications of the Academy of Sciences published a lot of his articles, listed Fossц? in "Compte rendu de l'Academie pour l'annee 1851" (St. Petersburg, 1852).
