DOLBY Ivan Petrovich

(1853 - 1912).
Higher education in the Mining Institute. Was a mathematics teacher in the Orenburg military school cadet corps and Nizhny Novgorod. In 1896, Mr.. elected to the chair of higher mathematics in the Mining Institute. Published several works (mostly on the theory of elliptic functions and abelian integrals) in Russian and foreign journals. Since 1905, Mr.. Dolby published in the periodical publications of the progressive series of articles on current social issues and participated in the first phase of the liberation movement (political banquets, "union association").
