Biography ZALESKI Joseph-Bogdan (Zaleski)
(1802 - 1886).
Born in Ukraine, the first years of life lived in a hut simple Khokhlov, under the supervision of which was given to parents to maintain health. He graduated from the course at the University of Warsaw. After 1830. Zaleski, emigrated to France, and by the end of 30-ies. settled in Galicia. Lyrics Zleskogo remarkable for the beauty of the images and brilliance of verse, it is based on a passionate love for Ukraine to the steppes, who raised him to the sounds and melodies teorbana dum. Opik Zaleski much inferior to his lyrics, singing the relationships of the Cossacks in Poland, seeking to reconcile the spirit of the Cossacks with the views of Poles, Zaleski involuntarily departs from the historical truth.
