Biography Kittary Modest Yakovlevich
(1825 - 1880)
The 24 was already a doctor of natural sciences and moved its zootomicheskimi works, but with 1850. devote themselves entirely to technology. In 1853, Mr.. Kittary took the chair of technology at the Kazan University, and under his influence first penetrated best practices in the plant-factory industry Volga. He quickly formed around him a whole school of young engineers, founded the Technical Museum, called for the activities of Kazan Economic Society, and founded his magazine. In 1857, Mr.. Kittary had been invited to Moscow University's Department of Technology, opened at the request of the Moscow merchants, which put Kittary and headed the Moscow Academy of practical commercial sciences. Moscow Kittary hosted at the University of Technology Laboratory, was editor of the Moscow Society of Agriculture and re-based "Industrial Newssheet". If you cancel a paying off the system, the Ministry of Finance has asked the Kittary with the proposal to read the course of distillation newly appointed excise officer, who determined the position and not otherwise, as to his appraisal. St.Petersburg, . 1866 - 68), "Lectures on the tanning industry" (Moscow, . 1865); "Soldier shoe products,
. Dressing shoe product, its properties, cut and acceptance "(St. Petersburg, 1859)," Map of the leather industry in Russia (St. Petersburg, 1875) and other. He also edited and supplemented translation of theoretical, practical and analytical chemistry, in an annex to the arts and industry ", Musprata (Moscow, 1869 and following), but death overtook Kittary at work on the 12 th Issue 2 of Volume II. In an effort to introduce scientific methods in the plant-factory industry in Russia, Kittary always with deep sympathy stopped at a peasant industry and highly of the importance of agriculture in Russia. In 1860, Mr..
