Biography Latkin Vasiliy
Born in 1858, graduated from St. Petersburg University, Faculty of Law. Contains a professor of the Petrograd University and at one time held the chair of the history of Russian law in the Law School. His first scholarly work: "Zemsky Sobor of ancient Russia compared with Western European representative institutions" (1885, Master's thesis) sums up the whole preceding development of this issue, relating to it new data, . collected in the Moscow archives, . issued separately under the title: "Materials for the history of the Zemsky Sobor XVIII Century" (1884), . The next work Latkina "Legislative Commission in Russia in XVIIII Century" (1887, doctoral thesis), . based largely on archival material codification Division, . remained not doomed; partial execution of it are: "Draft Code is, . compiled by Legislative Commission 1754 - 1766 years "(1893) and" On the history of codification in Russia in the XVIII century "(Journal of the Ministry of Justice", . 1902, . ? 5), . Rates Latkina at the university and in the Law School: Lectures on the history of Russian foreign law "(1888, 2 ed. 1890), "Lectures on the History of Russian Law" (1892, 2 ed. 1912) and "Textbook history of the Russian imperial law" (1899, 2 ed. 1909). In 1894 - 1899 years Latkin edited the Journal of the St. Petersburg Law Society, since 1906, Mr.. edits the weekly "Zarskoselskii Case", the local Octobrists.
