Biography Markov, Andrei Andreyevich
Born in 1856, graduated from St. Petersburg University in the discharge of Mathematical Physics and Mathematics Department. In 1880, Mr.. Mark holds a master's degree for his thesis "On the binary quadratic forms of positive determinant". Markov received a Ph.D. in 1885. for his thesis "On some applications of algebraic continued fractions". Was a professor of St. Petersburg University, now an ordinary academician. Markov has published very many books, most of which are printed in editions of the Academy of Sciences. Separately published "Table des valeurs de l'integrale ..." (1888), "The calculus of finite differences" (2 nd Edition, . 1911), "The calculus of probability (3rd edition, . 1913).'s Favorite subjects research were Markov probability theory and the theory of algebraic continued fractions and the theory of algebraic numbers,
