Biography Archie YRIGOYEN Alvaro
born March 14, 1946 in Guatemala City. From 1985 to 1990, Archie Yrigoyen was mayor of his native Guatemala City. In 1990, he unsuccessfully ran for president of the country, and 14 January 1991. was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. However, on September 23 that same year he left that post to become Secretary General of National Movement Party.
