Biography Palauzov Spyridon N.
(1818 - 1872) - a native Bulgarian
Born in Odessa, he studied at the Richelieu Lyceum and Heidelberg and the University of Munich, where he earned a doctorate in political and economic sciences. To study the history of the Slavs moved to the University of Moscow, . where he listened to Bodyansky and received a Ph.D., in 1852, defended his St. Petersburg University, a master's degree thesis on "The Age of the Bulgarian Tsar Simeon (St. Petersburg, . 1852),

Official career P. began an official for special assignments in the Ministry of Education, then the censor, and in the war 1853 - 1856 he. was in Moldavia and Wallachia in Paskevich, then the commander in chief of Prince Gorchakov for the transition of Bulgaria in Russia and then was manager of the Warsaw Customs and the Chief of Department at the Ministry of Finance. By order of the first founders of the Bulgarian rector in Odessa, Bulgarians Aprilova and NS. Palauzova (cm. above), P. traveled in Gabrovo (Bulgaria) to organize the 1 st of the Bulgarian School.
