Biography Yahya ibn Abi Mansur
(Abu Ali Yahya ibn Abi Mansur) (? - 832, near Aleppo, Syria) -- The son of an astrologer Abu Mansur Habana. Prior to the adoption of Islam name was Ibn Bizist Firuzan. Was an astrologer under the Caliph al-Ma'mune (813 - 833). Compiled by the set of horoscopes, supervised the observatory in Baghdad, set up al-Ma'munom in 828 g. He died during a hike in Byzantium. Among his works should be given "Al-Zij Ma'munov subjected to inspection.
