Biography Pankevych Mikhail Ivanovich
(1757 - 1812)
He graduated from the course at the Kiev Theological Academy, he entered in 1780 at Moscow University, where he attended lectures by professors: Anichkova, Growth, Autograph and Chebotarev. In addition, he enrolled in 1782 in teaching, or teacher, seminary at the university gymnasium, where the main study mathematics and physics. In 1787 he became a lecturer at the university boarding school. In arithmetic, he taught here in 1790 - 1796 years of artillery and fortification. While statement Pankevych often suffered from the uncertainty and errors in calculations, but his lectures were imbued with the spirit of the new science.
