Biography Paul Alexander
(1830 - 1890). Native Ekaterinoslav province, a graduate of the University of Dorpat, Paul gathered a collection of antiquities of the Novorossiysk Territory, accounting for a significant archaeological museum (see. description in Ekaterynoslavsky Provincial Gazette "for 1887, Mr.. and "Catalog", compiled by Mrs. K. Miller, Kiev, 1893). Examination papers of Prince Potemkin, Paul indicated the presence in the neighborhood of the Horn of roofing slate, mineral paints, coal, iron ore and m. n. Mineral Wealth. He opened the rich iron ore, . obtain for the holding of the railway in LOTS, . marked the beginning of the device private iron and steel plants, . began to develop asbestos lomok, . called for the life of many branches of handicraft, . Besides, . Paul had worked in the local committees of the nobility of the peasant question and was summoned to St. Petersburg to participate in the drafting committees, after the liberation of the peasants was a member of the provincial Yekaterinoslav on Peasant Affairs, .
