Biography Bezobrazov Maria
Born on May 29 (10 June) 1856 in St. Petersburg in the family economist VP Bezobrazov. She graduated from the pedagogical courses in 1876. She taught at a girls' school Vyazemskaya. In 1885-1890 studied philosophy at the University of Zurich. In 1891 she defended at Berne University doctoral dissertation written material to the history of philosophy in Russia. After returning to Russia to make public lectures, in 1892 published a collection of articles Philosophical studies. Participated in the organization of Russian Women's Charitable Society (1895), Ethics Society (1910). Own philosophical position defined as 'ethical idealism'. In his doctoral dissertation Bezobrazov researched the hand-written records of Old ideas in libraries in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev, showed how a significant role at this early stage, playing the works of theological content. In the history of Russian thought, she sees two opposite trends - the mystical etitsizm and materialism. The first course in ancient history is revealed asceticism, freemasonry 18. and in theosophy turn 19 and 20 centuries. Materialism is manifested in the enormous receptivity to European deism, atheism and materialism, 18 and 19 centuries.
Remained unrealized design study called the history of education in Russia. One of the published fragments of this work was devoted to the creations of St.. Dionysius the Areopagite.
Died Bezobrazov in Moscow 2 (15) September 1914.
