Biography Reichel Yakov
1778 - 1856 Born in Warsaw. After the third partition of Poland and the closure of the Warsaw Mint, where P. worked with his father, he came, followed him to St. Petersburg to seek employment, in 1802. Soon he was able to determine the medal student at the St. Petersburg Mint. With a view to its improvement in the medal case, he did in 1810, traveled to foreign lands and return received at the Mint regular place medalist. Once involved in the establishment Expeditions harvested government securities and in 1818 took her to the position of Director of Technical Department. In 1837 he was sent abroad to study ways of making government securities in different countries and new inventions in this part.
