Biography BLANC, Louis (Blanc Louis)
(1811-1882)
Born October 29, 1811 in Madrid, in a French family. In 1913 the family moved to France. Before leaving for Paris in 1830, Blanc was studying at the Royal College de Rhodes. He became a journalist, published the magazine 'Bon san' ( 'Bon Sens'), in 1839 founded the newspaper 'Revue du warming' ( 'Revue du Progrs'), which outlined his economic ideas. Later published a book The Organization of Labor (L'Organisation du travail). The basis of his socialism is the idea of 'public workshops' - production cooperatives with an elected leadership and equal pay. However, by 1847 Blanc renounced the principle of equal pay and suggested that the principle of 'proportional equality'. Protected the mechanized production, advanced the idea of uniting all the workshops and planned production. Returning to France in September 1870, Blanc was elected to the National Assembly, condemned the peace treaty of Frankfurt and the Paris Commune. Blanc died in Cannes, December 6, 1882.
