Biography Raoul Dufy (Dufy Raoul)
Fame he brought pictures of resorts, beaches, horse races and regattas. Born in Le Havre on June 3, 1877, primary art education in his native city in the School of Fine Arts. In 1900 enrolled in the School of Fine Arts in Paris and began to see much in the artist and collector Leon Bonn. Dufy was indifferent to academic painting, much more attracted to impressionism, especially the landscapes of Claude Monet and Camille Pissarro.
