Biography LANGE Christian Christoph Anderas
Born in Berumen August 13, 1810. He studied theology, became interested in history, after the completion of training at the University of Christiania (now Oslo) became a professor at the Naval Academy in Fredriksverne. In 1845 he joined the Office of the royal archives. As a historian Lange mainly engaged in medieval studies, has contributed to the publication of Diplomacy Norway (Diplomatarium norvegicum, 1842-1860) - labor, without which it is impossible to study the early history of Norway. Wrote a history of the Norwegian churches in the Middle Ages (De norske klostres historie i middelalderen, . 1847), . historical dictionary published Norwegian (Norsk forfatter lexicon, . 1841-1856) and Norwegian manuscripts in the literature (Norsk tidsskrift for videnskab og litteratur, . 1847-1852),
Lange died in Christiania May 10, 1861.
