FREDING Gustav (Frding Gustav)

(1860-1911)
August 22, 1860 in the province of Vцєrmland. Studied for three years at Uppsala University, but did not graduate course. The first collection of poetry Fredinga guitar and harmonica (Gitarr och dragharmonika) came out in 1891. Section on Vцєrmland in its second collection, New Poems (Nya dikter, 1894), consolidated the reputation Fredinga. Freding revived Swedish poetry and has influenced not only his contemporaries but also the subsequent generation of poets and prose writers. In 1917-1922 in Stockholm, was published collection of his works in 16 volumes.
Freding died in Stockholm on February 8, 1911
