Dedkov Viktor Semenovich

Born in the family of the railway. After graduating from high school, enrolled in college Velikolukskiy road, and after graduation worked at the construction of roads. In June 1941 he was drafted into the army. He served in the engineering troops. He took part in forcing the rivers Oder, Neisse. For the excellent organization of crossing the Dnieper, personal courage and determination was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. Order of Patriotic War I and II degree, two ordinate the Red Star. After the war, Col.. S. Dedkov continued to serve in the Soviet Army. In 1970 he was dismissed for sickness and until 1970 worked as head of the department in the central office of the Ministry of Housing and Civil RSFSR. Then he retired.
