Father D., Vladimir Fedorovich, - a prominent lawyer, senator, professor at St. Petersburg University, editor of the Journal of the Ministry of Justice. In 1906-11 he. D. studied law at university and at the Drawing School in OPKh I.I. Andreoletti. In 1911 and 1912. in Paris he studied with P. Werle at the Academy P. Julien and in the studio of Jean-A. Enzhalbera. In 1913-18 he. studied at the sculpture department at the Academy of Arts G.R. Zaleman and VA. Beklemisheva. In the early period played little impressionistic sculptures of plaster, marble, bronze and terracotta: Ivan the Terrible and Malyuta Skuratov, the ball, Kiss, Countess From. de Roben with a greyhound, portraits of Prince B.B. Golitsyn, artists VV. Belyashina and BC. Radlov the composer SS. In April, 1917. Arts pupils have been authorized to delegate to a committee LRIT.
