(1761, Roslavl county Smolensk Province. - 8.II.1838, Moscow) Director of public schools in the province of Smolensk. Place from an old noble family, who owned a small estate (Selco Babich) in the parish Gorenovskoy Roslavl County Smolensk Province. A Father. - Archpriest, the builder and the rector of the cathedral of the Annunciation Church in Roslavl. Initial education in Roslavl, then graduated from the Smolensk Seminary and Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University. Since 1783, Mr.. taught rhetoric, mathematics and French at the seminary in Smolensk. Since 1787, Mr.. became secretary to the chief curator of Moscow University I.I. Shuvalov, from 1795, Mr.. - Secretary of the famous statesman Admiral NS. Mordvinova (at that time lived in Nikolaev). In 1799. - Director of public schools in the province of Smolensk (the main national school in Smolensk, a small public schools in the district towns of White, Vyazma Gzhatsk, Dorogobuzh, Riverlands, Roslavl, two private pension).
