Honored Scientist of Russia. (1997). He graduated from the Voronezh Medical Institute in 1954. Research specialization: surgical cardiology, the use of surgery in the new types of energy. Author of 14 inventions and patents. Under his leadership reserved 1 doctoral and 13 master's theses. Has published 150 research and teaching works.
