Hindle was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he grew up in different parts of Ontario, while the family, finally settling down in Toronto

As a child Arta not like to study, he frequently changed schools, which he was associated with prison. As a teenager he traveled all over Canada and the United States by car. Returning to Toronto,
Hindley became a semi-professional soccer team defender, while doing office work for "Columbia Records".
At 21, Art became a stockbroker, he drank a lot. Three years later he decided to pursue an acting career. In 1972 he published the first film with his participation Face / off.
Art was shot in the low-budget films and serials, both at home - in Canada, and America. From 1989 to 1994, he played one of the best roles - Mike Fennell in the Canadian series ENG. His work was appreciated by awarding the 1990 GEMINI. In this series actor for the first time for himself acted as a director of several episodes.
In 1998, he received a major role in the series The Waiting Game. His hero - Lowell Kinkeyd asked the nurse to take care of the casket, which he sent from Mexico.
In 1999, Art was withdrawn in the thirteenth series Antipas third season of Millennium. In 2001, Art started working in another series Alliance Atlantis - Paradise Falls, which critics called "Twin Peaks and Melrouz Place in a bottle".
Hindle plays the role of the Mayor Peter Braga, a large man in a small town, full of intrigue and murder. In Paradise Falls all have our skeletons in the closet.
