. Born March 18, 1923 in the village Lysovschina Pukhavichy district, Minsk region in a peasant family. Belorus. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1937. He graduated from high school and Minsk Aero Club. In the Red Army in 1940. In 1942 he graduated from Bataisk military aviation school pilots name of AK Serov.
In the battles of World War II from August 1943. July 3, 1944 Guard Lieutenant Guchek PI. near the town of Brody of Lviv region in the dozens of aircraft P-39 "Airacobra" entered into battle with a large group of enemy bombers Ju-87, covered by fighters Me-109. Impact group attacked the "Junkers". Those quick to drop their bombs before reaching the goal, and the dive began to go in different directions. Our fighters have continued to pursue.
