Born April 4, 1915 in the village Kropyvnytskyi now Novoukrainskaya region Kirovograd region in a working class family. Ukrainetz. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1941. Graduated from the 6 classes of schools and school FZU. In 1936 he graduated from Kirovograd Civil Engineering. He worked as a technician-builder in Stalingrad. In the Red Army in August 1937. In July 1941, he graduated from the 7 th Stalingrad Military Aviation School of Pilots. He served in the Air Defense.
In Private World War II from June 1941. Total has made 93 sorties.
July 1, 1942 in an unequal air battle near Voronezh, being severely wounded in both legs, burning plane rammed an enemy bomber, been going to bomb important military site. Landed by parachute. He was taken to hospital, but 10 hours later died of wounds and burns.

His name had been called one of the Voronezh streets and Pioneer squad school Б•¬ 7 Kirovograd. It was ever enrolled in the lists of the Kirovohrad Oblast Komsomol organization and collective farm named after Taras Shevchenko Novoukrainskaya area.
