P odkin Eugene - Head of Special Section of the rapid response office to combat organized crime, Mr.. Kurgan, a police lieutenant colonel. Born December 20, 1951 in the city of Rubtsovsk, Altai Krai. He served in various positions inspector and officers of ATC Kurgan region. He graduated from the Academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs in 1988.
In 1984 - 1986 years as a specialist Interior assisted in the formation of law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Afghanistan.
Repeatedly sent on mission to Chechnya. Died March 6, 1996 in Grozny in an unequal battle.

March 6, 1996 in the commandant's office received a signal to attack militants at a checkpoint in Grozny.
